VISIT THIS VINE

"Return, we beseech thee, O God of Hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;" Psalm 80:14
JOAN'S POEM - ODE TO OLD

                       Ode To Old

The Body is the Soul’s Grand Stopwatch--

Clicking Timelines out for the Timeless Soul;

Marking out Time with each timeline clicknotch--

Since the ere-young spirit does not time-toll!

For the soul feels eternally vibrant;

And rushes forward with vigorous heart;

And yearns to see life through festive eyes;

And craves for wisdom and truth to be vaunt.

Yet harken to life’s melody and counterpart:

Soul Ageless Soars while Body Sighing Dies.

Throughout the life the soul remains young--

And, without the body, could not feel age.

Throughout the life the soul sings a song--

While the body Orders Times To Turn The Page

Should earthly bodies not illuminate

And reflect the constant passage of time,

There would remain no other time gage;

For, in effect, then Time would be abdicate

With bodies not honoring a life timeline--

And all humanity would be the same age.

But one should ask, as Art Linkletter informs,

Not “How old are you?”  but “How are you old?”

Art speaks from his Age Ninety-five platform--

Realign Aging Body to the Ageless Soul.

We find the Earthly Answer from experts

Is to guardian well the body’s needs

To lengthen timeline between birth and grave;

We find Heavenly Answers from God’s heart

That a wise man guardians well but also heeds--

God’s Plan is New Body resurrects grave.

BY ONE, THE MANY

 Psalm 69:4…then I restored that which I took not away.

Romans 5

(Paraphrased)

Just as:

By ONE man’s disobedience:  The MANY received a sinful nature and judgment and a death sentence from the work of Adam:

15.“Through the offence of one, many be dead.”

Even so:

By ONE man’s obedience:  The MANY received redemption for MANY sins and the MANY received imputed righteousness through faith in the work of the ONE, the “Holy Lamb Of God.”

21.“That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Psalm 69:4…then I restored that which I took not away.

Psalm 22:29…all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
