VISIT THIS VINE

"Return, we beseech thee, O God of Hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;" Psalm 80:14

“MOTHER”—A SUBJECT TOO PROFOUND TO BE POETED AND YET

Two subjects too profound to poet, although “Ideals” engraved in stone,
Seem those subjects of Guardian Angel and that of Angel Mom--
Because both are glorious gifts from God our Father’s throne
Thus commissions that one speak with great eloquence or else one must fall mum.

Albeit a Desire for Voice struggles strongly within--in spite of a lack of eloquence!
As though a Desire for Voice and a Mere Grain of Sand could portray a Beach by happenstance!
As though a Desire for Voice and a Mere Drop Of Water could be deemed to portray an Ocean!
As though a Desire for Voice and a Mother’s Day poem could begin to eloqui a Child’s Devotion!

Insufficient are “mere words,” although the word “flower” brings great beauty to mind;
Insufficient are “mere words,” though the word “music” evokes melodic singing in kind;
Insufficient are “mere words,” though the word “family” wells up love and tenderness;
Ever more Insufficient are "mere words," as ALL LANGUAGE pinnacles and sums and in the word “Mother” rests.

My Mother, Uldene Lee—The mother God graciously gave to me;
A one of a kind nurturer and image of God’s wonderful Kingdom-to-be;
As God’s love and beauty shines through her mind, her soul, her face
Illuminating a woman of virtue and wisdom and kindness and grace--

My “Mother”—Only one person could fit that wondrous bill in kind
Only one person found at that tender address enscribed “MOTHER OF MINE”
Uldene Lee—A greater than she there is no other
How fortunate for me that Dene Lee is “MY VERY OWN MOTHER.”

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY, MOM!!
